The Sanford Home & School Association is hosting its 21st Benefit Auction featuring a silent auction, dinner, and a live auction. This black-tie optional event, which begins at 6 p.m., benefits Sanford School programs. Click here for more information. Take a peek at Sanford’s Lower School on Tuesday, March 13. The Lower School faculty will be available to discuss our approach to early childhood and elementary education, using methods and materials that engage and inspire young children. Applications are now being accepted for September 2007.

Boys' Basketball Loses in State Championship

The boys' basketball team lost 67-41 to Christiana High School in the state championship Monday night at the Bob Carpenter Center. Thank you to everyone who supported the team, and congratulations to the team for a great season.

Monday Declared Blue-Gold Day In Honor of Boys' Basketball

Monday, March 5, is declared a Blue-Gold Day on campus. Everyone is encouraged to show their support for Sanford’s boys’ basketball team making it to the State Championship by wearing blue and gold tomorrow. Tickets for admission to the Bob Carpenter Center will go on sale at the Sanford Sports Center from 11 AM to 2 PM. The Warriors will be playing the Vikings of Christiana High School. Go Warriors!

Boys' Basketball Advances to Finals; Tickets On Sale Sunday and Monday

The boys’ defeated William Penn 68-61 in a thrilling overtime semifinal basketball game Saturday afternoon. Senior Edwin Santiago hit a three point shot to tie the game with 10 seconds left, and the team took control in overtime. They will face Christiana for the state championship Monday night at the Bob Carpenter Center. Tickets will be available at the Sanford Sports Center Sunday between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and Monday between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Girls' Basketball Loses in Semifinals

The girls’ basketball team lost Friday evening to St. Elizabeth’s 42-31 at the Bob Carpenter Center. Despite the loss, the team finishes a terrific season.

The boys’ basketball team takes on William Penn Saturday afternoon at the Bob Carpenter Center. Tickets will be available between 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. at the Sanford Sports Center.

Tickets for the boys' basketball game will be available for purchase Saturday morning at the Sports Center between 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. The game is scheduled for 4 p.m. at the Bob Carpenter Center versus William Penn.

Boys' Basketball Team Wins to Join the Girls' Team in Semifinals

The boys’ basketball team defeated Sussex Central 58-54 to advance to the semifinals, where they will face William Penn Saturday at 4PM in the Bob Carpenter Center. They join the girls’ team, who defeated Hodgson to advance and take on St. Elizabeth’s Friday night, also at the Bob Carpenter Center.
