The Sanford Home & School Association is hosting its 21st Benefit Auction featuring a silent auction, dinner, and a live auction. This black-tie optional event, which begins at 6 p.m., benefits Sanford School programs. Also, don’t forget that you can still purchase a raffle ticket to win a new Jeep or cash. Only 300 tickets will be sold. The winning ticket will be drawn during the auction. The Four School Parent Awareness Committee has rescheduled Dan Kindlon’s presentation on Raising Children of Character in an Indulgent Age for 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 15, at Tower Hill School. Sanford grade reps are sending registration information to Sanford families. Also, Sanford parents of 8th through 12th grade students are invited to a parent book discussion on Dr. Kindlon’s book, Too Much of a Good Thing, scheduled for Thursday, April 12, at 7 p.m. To register for the book discussion, contact Sue Dagenais at 302-239-5263, ext. 225.
