Welcome to the new Sanford home page! We have been working hard based on your feedback to best serve your online needs, and we are happy to launch one of our first steps, the redesign of the website. The navigation has now been slimmed down and simplified, but if you have trouble finding anything you can use the new site map. This website and our other web offerings will continue to grow based on your feedback, and you can keep track of all the latest updates and website news at the new Sanford Web-Bytes blog.

Homecoming will be held this weekend. Please join students, families, alumni, and friends of Sanford for athletic events, social gatherings, ceremonies, and more. Also, remember to check the Website for information about event changes and cancellations due to weather conditions.

Katie Brown, Chris Copeland, and Ella Wagner have been named 2009 National Merit Semifinalists. These three students have an opportunity to compete for some 8,200 scholarships, worth more than $35 million, that will be offered next spring. Congratulations to these fine scholars.

Beginning Monday, September 22, Sanford will celebrate Spirit Week which culminates in a Homecoming Weekend celebration September 26-27. One of the key highlights of the week’s festivities is Founder’s Day. This year, Sanford School is celebrating its 78th birthday on Wednesday, September 24.

Sanford families: The first issue of Talents will be published this Friday. Families who have Lower School children will receive a copy of the newsletter in Friday folders. Upper and Middle School families will receive their newsletters in the mail.
