Stage Door at Sanford Still Accepting Students

Beginning in January, Stage Door at Sanford will offer acting and musical theatre training to young people in grades 2–12. This after school drama program is open to all in this age group, including students outside of Sanford School. Click here for more information. Sanford Mourns the Loss of Dr. Paul Donovan

It is with great sadness that we share with you the passing of Dr. Paul Donovan who died recently after a brief battle with ALS. Dr. Donovan taught German at Sanford from 1980 until his retirement this past June. He is survived by his wife, Marguerite, and his son and daughter-in-law Mark Albright ‘95 and Angelika. Fifteen Sanford students have been recognized for post-season athletic honors. The students are Damian Gallagher, Josiah Hannon, Jordan Poarch T.J. Potter, Tom Stevens, and Eric Wetzel for soccer; Taylor Denham, Danielle Fleming, Sukey Hendrix, Lauren Olivieri, and Katie Zubrow for field hockey; and, Naiesha Brown, Grace Clampitt, Steffi Cramer, and Alexa Webb for volleyball. Congratulations to our All-State Chorus Members

Fourteen Sanford School students have been selected for All-State Chorus. At the senior level, Maddy Gondek, Sarah Halbert, Nick Madden, Kathryn Marshall, Mary Mecca, T.J. Potter, Rita Snell, and Cara Tozzoli were selected. The junior members are Shannon Babcock, Jennifer Ehret, Rebecca Goodier, Emma Heberton, Erica McGaurn, and Maya Ram. Congratulations to these fine vocalists.
