On Monday, January 18th, the Sanford community celebrated the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during Sanford’s fifth annual Day of Service. The student body began the day with an assembly honoring the work of the slain civil rights leader. Afterward, students, staff members, and family volunteers contributed their time and talent on and off campus to a variety of organizations including Faithful Friends, the Latin American Community Center, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Food Bank of Delaware, and Heifer International.
