Vocal Ensemble Honored

The Sanford Vocal Ensemble recently performed for the State Legislature in Dover, Delaware. Following the performance, legislators presented the vocalists with a special tribute for a year of outstanding artistic achievement. In addition, Governor Jack Markell enjoyed a private performance of Jacques Arcadelt’s Ave Maria. Congratulations to Performing Arts Chairperson Clint Williams and the talented members of the Vocal Ensemble.

Congratulations Spring Athletes

More than 20 athletes have received post-season honors in spring sports. Five students—Cindy Duan, Natasha Prokhnevska, Sukey Hendrix, Kendall Towe, and Matt Yung—were selected for All-State teams. Others receiving recognition include: Taylor Denham, Lauren Olivieri, Leila Nashed, Danielle Fleming, Hannah Wagner, Missy Greene, Katie Zubrow, Sarah Massaferi, Mellie Lusk, Emily McBride, T.J. Potter, Brian Dresser, Josiah Hannon, Elizabeth DiFilippo, Jerome Garrett, Kyle McGregor, Dan Coburn, Megan Yung, Naiesha Brown, and Jenna Reed. Click here for more information.

High School Summer Courses Still Enrolling

High school credit classes begin 06/28
Openings are still available in Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre Calculus, Chemistry, and SAT prep courses. In addition to receiving academic credit, your child can use summer session to help improve grades and performance, reinforce skills learned in the past school year, get a head start for the next level or next year, and develop creativity.
